A comparative forage trial on a working operation
Under a non-binding MOU with a Malaysian forage producer, Phi Earth is running a comparative field trial on Napier hybrid grass to test the Phi Tech protocol against the operation's current practice. The pilot builds the evidence base for ongoing protocol supply and for the MRV record.
The pilot is asset-light. The host provides the land and operations, and Phi Earth provides the protocol, the digital infrastructure, and the deployment method. Phi Earth integrates partner biological inputs and owns the data and documentation layer. MRV version 1 runs on this pilot, logging the trial record batch by batch.

Phase 1, the forage trial, runs about seven months from 2026. Phase 2, an intercropping phase, follows subject to inputs and host approval. Phase 3, value pathways such as pelletisation or energy use, is scoped at the Phase 1 gate.

Yield, quality, cost, and soil, against the control
We measure yield, forage quality (crude protein and dry matter), input cost, and soil health indicators, each against the control arm. Results are published once third-party verified.
